Dental experts introduced that removable dentures have many advantages, many people do not have enough funds for dental implants, choose to do removable dentures is a very good choice, removable denture restoration does not hurt healthy teeth, is in addition to implant repair filling method is a better way to fill teeth.

The advantages of using removable dentures to repair missing teeth are that there is less grinding of tooth tissue, easy to wash, better oral cleanliness, easy repair and replacement. If the base is broken or an artificial tooth is added, among other problems, it can be modified on the original denture.

The indications of removable dentures and dental implants are similar, but each has its own advantages, I am more inclined to dental implants, dental implants are more stable than removable dentures, removable dentures are used for a long time, it is easy to loosen, in addition, removable dentures should be removed and cleaned every day before going to bed, which is not convenient for dental implants, and the complete hygiene and cleaning steps and practices of dental implants are exactly the same as real teeth, which will be more suitable for people's living habits.

There are several patients who are suitable for removable dentures:
1. Missing teeth with alveolar bone, jaw and soft tissue defects can be repaired with removable dentures, and alveolar bone, jawbone and soft tissue defects are restored at the same time as the missing teeth.

2. Patients who are older (generally referred to as over 60 years old) and cannot accept long-term intraoral operations, or patients who are unwilling to grind their teeth more, and who are not suitable for fixed dentures, can do movable denture restoration.

3. Patients under the age of 18, because their teeth are not fully mature and stable, and they are not suitable for fixed dentures, they can choose removable dentures as transitional restoration.

4. Patients with one tooth missing to have only one tooth in the mouth, especially those with missing ends (that is, natural teeth on one side of the missing tooth area and no natural teeth on the other side).

5. If the tooth extraction wound is not completely healed, but the front teeth cannot be missing due to occupational needs, or the movable dentures are urgently needed as transitional restoration, "immediate denture" restoration can be done.

6. The vertical distance of the occlusal is reduced due to insufficient eruption of congenital teeth or severe wear of teeth, and the vertical distance needs to be appropriately increased.

7. Cleft lip and palate need to be closed with a base.
